I enjoyed the food at Rio's. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and were the only people there around 12 PM. We started with complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were thick and crunchy, but could have used some more salt or flavor. Salsa was fine. We had two entrees: Enchiladas en Moladas ($24) with chicken and ground beef enchiladas in corn tortillas, one covered with our signature 7 pepper mole & one with house mole verde; Regular Combo ($17) with Enchilada and chimichanga both with chicken. Both came with beans and rice. The food was delicious and looked great. I loved both of the mole sauces on the enchilada. The chimichanga came with guac on top which was a nice surprise. Very pleased with the flavors, presentation, and portion size. Service and atmosphere were fine. They have a few small TVs in the dining room. The place was clean.

Vibe: Friendly service. Like eating a meal your friends mom might make for a special occasion or to impress guests. Food: Fresh, all home-made. Chips made in house, crunchy. Salsa is smokey and a little hot, with a good depth of flavor! Vegetarian options - enchilada in a spinach cream sauce ( good!), taco salad ( tasty), and other veggie option. Guac was fruity, homemade and goood!

Fajitas Rio was an amazing dish of variety and quality. Variety included steak, beans, rice, chips, salsa, tortillas. The quality included the main dish and tortillas. Wonderfully seasoned steak with tortillas with maximum flavor. The improvables could be the rice, beans, chips, and salsa. It was not bad, but was not memorable. If you are in the area, it would be a good spot to check out and enjoy. The service was full of sweet workers. Great spot.

Amazing food and amazing service. Have the ceviche and the 3 taco appetizers which was perfect for the 2 of us. If you need more food get the bigger entrees because add ons are expensive. Beer on tap only $6. Nice selection.

This place is 5 stars all day long. Found this place on Yelp while headed to Bend. The chips and salads were super fresh and the margaritas were handmade without the use of the "syrup mix". Ordered a taco salad and it was both filling and delicious. The guacamole was made from scratch and delicious. Service was great and will come back again. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun.

We really enjoyed our lunch visit to Rio -- a solid 4 to 4.5 stars. Our server started by bringing chips & salsa, which were among the best we've had at a restaurant -- the chips had great crunch, and the salsa was smoky, with a little bit of heat. For my entree I ordered the carne asada tacos, which came with rice and refried beans. The tacos were very full of the asada, and included onions and cilantro. Rio uses chipotle seasoning on their asada; and while it tasted good, I found myself craving more traditional asada flavors (it was also a little greasier than I would like). This is the reason for not giving 5 stars. The rice and beans were delicious, although the beans had a strange consistency -- very thin, almost pureed. But it all tasted traditional, so I was happy. One of the best surprises on the menu was that they have horchata (aka "rice water"). To me, horchata is the perfect accompaniment to good Mexican food, and Rio's was especially good -- the topping of fresh cinnamon was especially nice. We would definitely visit Rio again, next time we are rolling thru Madras.
